Ingredients
  

Refreshing Banana Kiwi Smoothie

  • 1 cup dairy or non-dairy milk
  • 1 small sliced frozen banana
  • 1 medium kiwi peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup lightly packed baby spinach
  • ½ small avocado
  • Optional add-ins: 1 tablespoon hemp seeds, 1 teaspoon chia seeds, and/or 1 to 2 tablespoons nut or seed butter

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until very smooth, typically 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thinner smoothie, add more milk. Freeze the kiwi slices before blending for a colder and thicker smoothie. Add a scoop of protein powder for a protein boost.
